Dodecenyl Succinic Anhydride. M.W. 226.28
Improved DDSA. This is now ultra pure, distilled by a new, slower process, which has a distinct effect on the colour control of embedding resins, and offers complete infiltration of tissues. Produces blocks which are totally transparent.
CITRUS-BASED SOLVENT AND MULTI-PURPOSE CLEANER
De-Solv-it cleaner has no overwhelming vapours and requires no expensive additional protective clothing besides gloves and safety glasses. It is biodegradable and water miscible.
De-Solv-it cleaner can be used on many different surfaces: metals, glass, tile/formica, wood surfaces, ceramics, many plastics, carpet, clothing/fabrics. Do not use on silk, suede or leather.

Diglycidyl ether of polypropylene glycol, CAS/AICS Number: 26142-30-3 (9072-62-2)
Epoxy equivalent 305-335. D.E.R™ 736 is no longer available in Australia; D.E.R™ 732 is a close substitute, but has a slightly greater epoxy equivalent and requires 10% less accelerator in Spurr's formula.
D.E.R.™ 732 Liquid Epoxy Resin is a flexible, low viscosity, light color, epoxy resin for use in coatings and adhesives. This resin, with conventional bisphenol A based epoxy resins, imparts flexibility, elongation and improves impact resistance.
This resin serves also as a viscosity reducer, or can serve as the basis for advanced polymers for a variety of water-borne and solvent-borne coatings.D.E.R™ is a trademark of The Dow Chemical Company

Used as a dehydration agent. DMP (2,2‐Dimethoxypropane, is a quick material for quickly processing tissue preparations for SEM and TEM. Initial dehydration with ethanol or acetone is recommended. DMP acts by chemically converting any remaining water to acetone. So complete dehydration is assured without special efforts to dry acetone or ethanol to achieve complete dehydration.
Specific Gravity: 0.849
