All NW/KF style vacuum connections conform to the international ISO 2861/I standard. KF series quick release flanges also comply with Standard GB4982-85.
Other vacuum components, which may include three-way types, blind plates, metal flexible corrugated pipes, callipers and bolts, heel blocks and holders, comply with the ISO Standard 9000:2000.
They are widely used in the assorted vacuum systems and low-voltage pipe systems, such as electronic, food machinery, the petrochemical industry, and medicine machinery.

These Aluminium Bulkhead Clamps are commonly used to build foreline vacuum plumbing and process systems. Adapts to a baseplate or fixed flange. Uses standard KF seal assembly. They are often called quick flange fittings because they are quick to assemble. A circumferential clamp and centring ring form the vacuum seal between the connecting flanges. They are made of Aluminium.

Used on pumps and other applications where components need to be shielded from small particles entering.
Centring Rings with screen vacuum fittings follow ISO-KF standards. These centring rings with screen mesh are useful in many situations in which a vacuum system or instrument needs to be protected from contamination by particulate generated from outside the system or from within. They are commonly used to build foreline vacuum plumbing and process systems.

Depending on pressure on the O-ring, environment and service temperature, O-rings need to be renewed to ensure leak-free seals. Use the O-rings to service the NW/KF connections on your vacuum systems.
Viton® is well known for its excellent resistance to heat and to aggressive fuels and chemicals. Used for high vacuum applications, temperature range from -54°C to 250°C. Viton® is a registered trademark of DuPont Performance Elastomers.
Silicone is a popular O-Ring which is commonly red in colour and is used for chemical applications. Made of elastomeric materials made from silicone, oxygen, hydrogen and carbon. Excellent material for static service at extreme (hot or cold) temperatures. Outstanding flex and fatigue life. Very good for ozone and UV radiation as well as for resistance to fungal and biological attack. Limitations: Avoid chlorinated solvents, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons and petroleum oils. Silicones are generally very permeable to gases and have poor physical strength and abrasion resistance. Temperature Range from -85°C to 232°C. LPCVD/Oxidation, Dry Etch, Resist Stripping.
Buna-N, also known as Standard Nitrile, is used for non-critical and low vacuum applications, temperature range from -54°C to 150°C. Excellent resistance to petroleum-based oils and fuels, water and alcohols. Nitrile also has good resistance to acids and bases, except those with a strong oxidising effect. Limitations: Avoid highly polar solvents (Acetone, MEK, etc.) and direct exposure to ozone and sunlight.

REDUCING LOCATING RING WITH O-RING

These adapter rings are used when less common (older) NW/KF 10, NW/KF 20 and NW/KF 32 flanges need to be connected to the standard NW/KF parts.
These vacuum blanking plates, also known as end-plates, blank caps, blind flanges and blanking plugs, are made from 304 Stainless Steel (SS304).
Used to blank off vacuum ports not being used. Can also be used for troubleshooting by blanking off sections to determine possible leaks.
KF flanges are equal to the flanges known as KF (or Klein Flansche) by the International Standards Organization.
- KF fittings are used for through or foreline vacuum plumbing and simple HV (10-8 Torr) chambers
- Elastomeric o-ring limits the connection's temperature range and ultimate vacuum
- 304 stainless steel fittings work in adverse temperatures and corrosive conditions

KLEIN FLANGE TO HOSE ADAPTER
These joints, also called a nozzle adapters, smoke mouth joint or hose pipe adapters/hose connector adapters, connects a hose to a vacuum system using a KF clamp, often used with a hose clamp. Made from SS, these hose adapters are ribbed to give a excellent seal.

These weld flanges have several names flat flanges, terminal pad, half nipple, tubulations, and flange coupling.
As the name implies the primary purpose is for welding a Klein flange to metal tubing or to glue to hard plastic tubing. Weld flanges can be used as KF to hose adapters. Secure the vacuum tubing with a SS hose clamp.
They are made from SS304 and machined from solid bar without welds.

The NW/KF Viewports consist of a one piece assembly. The viewport assembly replaces a blanking plate and uses a standard NW/KF Centring Assembly and Clamp for sealing (not included). The window size for NW16 and NW25 is 16mm (0.62"). For NW40 and NW50, the window has a diameter of 38mm (1.51"). The body is made of stainless steel, the window is made of 7056 borosilicate glass; see transmission curve below. Useful for observing inside vacuum lines or chambers. Temperature range ‐20°C to 200°C (‐4°F to 392°F). Viton seal. Vacuum range down to 1x10‐9 Torr.

The NW/KF Electrical Feedthrough is a universal type feedthrough, which can be used either as high voltage or instrumentation feedthrough for devices in vacuum. The NW/KF Electrical Feedthrough has 4 wires and each wire is rated to a maximum of 1000V and 1A in vacuum. The wires are colour coded; white, black, red and green and have no connectors. The feedthrough is based on an aluminium bored stub and available in NW/KF 16, ‐25, ‐40 and ‐50.

The NW/KF quick vacuum test gauge is mounted on a standard NW/KF flange and can be connected to any standard vacuum line of pump with NW/KF connection to quickly test the vacuum level. This extremely rugged Pirani Vacuum Gauge is constructed with a solid, noble, inert metal that maintains its calibration over long periods.
