Add the appropriate volume of stain for the number of grids being processed by allowing the stain to flow down the inside of the vessel, using a pipette or similar tool. To remove trapped air in a grid containing well, move the matrix forward and then backward in the staining vessel. This will pull the trapped bubbles out of the wells.
