Micro glass slides are precision rectangular glass capillary tubes used for microscopic viewing of samples of liquids.  Capillary action instantly collects the specimen and the thin glass walls significantly reduce evaporation.  Such cells were designed to eliminate the need for cover glass and the method of hanging drop.  

These micro glass slides can be heat resistant to up to 500 deg. C. Samples can be stored by sealing or cementing open ends for future reference. Packaging of micro glass slides are within plastic vials.
