Mixed Cellulose Ester (MCE) membrane filter is composed of cellulose acetate and cellulose nitrate. Because MCE membrane is biologically inset, it is one of the most widely used membrane in analytical and research applications. Many microbiological techniques include Colony Counting after incubation as the standard method of quantification. Gridded filters have clearly defined grid lines spaced at 3.1mm intervals. The special link use non-toxic and completely free from bacterial growth inhibitors. Special color contrast provided by the membrane surface facilitates particle detection and minimize eye fatigue. White gridded membranes are designed for general purpose examination of all microorganisms. The recovery and retention of bacteria in water or waste water analysis as well as other microbiological tests. Features
*Hydrophilic membrane for aqueous clarification and particulate capture
*Consistent high flow rate for faster filtration and high binding capacity
*The color contrast provided by the membrane surface facilitates particle detection and minimizes eye fatigue
*Gridded membrane filters have clearly defined grid lines spaced at 3.1mm intervals
*Gridded membrane perfectly for microbiology analysis
*0.2um, 0.45um, 0.80um pore size for different microbe analysis
*Gamma irradiated for sterilization
*Individually sealed with easy-open white separator paper
These filters are compatible with our vacuum filter flasks and manifold systems however they can be used in many other 3rd party set ups.
High quality membrane disc filters that give consistent and reliable results and are optimised for HPLC media preparation, pharmaceuticals and cold sterilisation.
