Microscope slides, StarFrost polycat slides

Knittel, German made StarFrost microscope slides with Poly-L-Lysine coating for the use in Immunohistochemistry (IHC) and other harsher applications. Polycat slides have been developed for research in anatomy, cell-immunology, molecular biology and surgical molecular-pathology

 Made from extra white low iron soda-lime float-glass (ISO 8037/1). Tissue sections and cytological preparations adhere better to the slides without the need for special adhesives or protein coatings. 20mm printed coloured slide end provides an excellent inscription surface and prevents scratching and sticking, marking with pen or pencil. 

Resistant against all common lab chemicals, high pH, pressure cooker etc. and suitable for all common sterilisation methods. Hydrophilic surface tension, cleanly washed and polished, ready to use. Slides are available with CE/IVD marking (optional).
