pelco-safekeep-cryo-em-grid-storage-system
PELCO SafeKeep cryo-EM grid storage system

The PELCO SafeKeep Cryo-EM Grid Storage System is the first of its kind cryo grid box storage solution with a split-puck design. These “half pucks” are a more practical cryo-EM grid storage solution as they allow you to only need to remove 6 grid boxes at a time from cold storage instead of a full puck of 12 as is typically the case with other systems. This means fewer of your samples are exposed to potential particulate or ice contamination from unnecessary exposure outside of the storage dewar, all while taking up half the footprint of a standard storage puck.

The lid offers excellent visibility and an added layer of protection to your samples while being easy to remove. The universal grip point of each SafeKeep allows a variety of hand tools to be used to manipulate the vessel. The SafeKeep has a magnetic base, facilitating easy positioning and placement on the storage and shipping racks to lock each safely in place. The ambidextrous layout of the shelved racks allows for easy orientation when accessing SafeKeep pucks on either side of the rack. The 6 grid box positions are labeled and clearly visible with or without the lid in place; additionally, each SafeKeep puck has a unique serial number and correlating QR code for inventory management.

The PELCO SafeKeep Cryo-EM Grid Storage System is designed for compatibility with ICB 34, 35-6, and comparable cryo dewars, as well as the CX100 Dry Cryo Shipper.

Advantages of the PELCO SafeKeep Cryo-EM Grid Storage System

Split-puck design to reduce number of samples exposed to atmosphere at a time

Universal grip-point for compatibility with a variety of hemostats and handling tools

Transparent, magnetically attached lid for easy viewing and removal

Magnetic attachment points in puck base aid in positioning and placement on racks

Easy access to pucks for quick and efficient retrieval of samples

High contrast labeling of grid box positions

Each has a unique serialized identification number tied to QR code for inventory management

PELCO SafeKeep components are available as a complete system, separately, or in bundles for full racks, dewars, and all needed accessories.

Specifications:

<td rowspan="2" style="text-align: center;
