Serum vial, amber moulded glass Type II, 20mm neck
Moulded injection bottles with crimp finish, neutral borosilicate glass.
Molten Type I glass is formed and moulded with compressed air, where the vials are held for a short time to retain shape. They are transferred to annealing lehrs, heated to 600 deg. C and slowly cooled to remove stress points.
Type I glass containers are suitable for most preparations, whether or not for parenteral use.
