Material: The ProSciTech range of tweezers are made from 3 types of stainless steel.
1. AISI 420 high quality Japanese Stainless Steel
This is a hard steel and we recommend this for scissors and some tweezers that require to retain a sharp edge.
2. Anti-magnetic/anti-acid (AM/AA) steel This is particularly suited for tweezers because it is hard but springy, corrosion resistant and non-magnetic.
3. AISI 410 stainless steel for all other stainless steel.
