PRINTING OPTIONS
Self-Print
Thermal printed labelsCompatible with the Dymo 400 series but not the new, 500 series. Thermal transfer printers provide printing to withstand harsh environments, ideal for applications requiring chemical resistance. The printers work by heating resin ribbons (commonly black) to transfer ink onto the label for resistance against harsh solvents (e.g.,xylene and DMSO). FULL LIST - CRYO THERMAL TRANSFER LABELS Direct thermal printers use labels coated with a leuco dye which changes colour when heat is applied. Direct thermal labels are prone to fading over time, especially with exposure to chemicals, and are not compatible with sterilisation due to the leuco dye.
