Excellent quality, European-made Petri dishes with lid. Soda-lime glass. (Three sizes available).  Glassware has undergone stabilizing thermal treatments at temperatures higher than 500ºC, however  we do not recommend the users to exceed the temperature of 180ºC.  Care should also be taken to avoid thermal shock.Quality assurance is fundamentally based on the compliance with the applicable European standards (EN) and the international standards (ISO). Cleaning: 

This laboratory glassware  can be cleaned manually or using a laboratory washing machine. 

We recommend gentle cleaning with detergents of low alkalinity at temperatures below 70ºC. Long immersion times are not recommended. If the glass needs stronger cleaning procedures, we recommend filling the glassware with a mixture of equal parts of a 30 g/l solution of potassium permanganate (KMnO4) and 1 mol/l solution of sodium hydroxide (NaOH). Two hours of contact with the cleaning mixture should be enough to remove the contamination. Then the residue of MnO2 can be removed using diluted hydrochloric acid or oxalic acid, followed by distilled water.
