Carbon steel - extremely hard steel alloy (>59 HRC) Carbon steel is magnetic and susceptible to rust and as such cannot be sterilised.

Inox 02 - standard stainless steel. A magnetic alloy and can withstand 
temperatures of up to approximately 400°C (DIN 50 914), but it cannot be sterilised. 

Inox 08 - medical-grade stainless steel that offers excellent resistance to corrosion and salt. It is softer than carbon steel and can withstand temperatures of up to approximately 400°C Can be sterilised up to 180°C. Antimagnetic steel non-magnetic and good resistance to corrosion

Dumoxel - superb resistance to sulphuric environments, hydrochloric acid and all inorganic and organic acids. Dumoxel is a 95% antimagnetic alloy, can be 
sterilised up to 270°C.

Titanium - light, resistant, non-magnetic alloy. Highly resistant to corrosion (nitric and chloric acids, salt water, etc.) and is more flexible, but softer, than stainless steel 08. 

Dumostar - adapted for use with human tissue and offers optimal resistance to all types of corrosion, organic and inorganic acids and salt. 100% antimagnetic and can withstand temperatures from cryonics to a maximum of 500°C.

The different materials can be finished in various ways including: Epoxy-coated, vulcanised nitrile rubber grips, and various polished metal finishes
