These USB3.0 ToupTek Photonics microscope cameras use the same design and eyepiece adapters as the USB2.0 cameras, but are slightly larger in size. The USB3.0 cameras bring the benefit of added speed - up to ten times the data transfer speed of USB2.0. This allows for higher frame rates and faster image capture. The software used is the same, with a few tweaks to allow for the higher transfer rate.

These easy to use and very versatile digital cameras are supplied integral with a low power microscope eyepiece (23.2mm DIN standard). They are simply inserted into an eyepiece tube or top tube of a trinocular head. The visual field observed in the camera is up to 90% of the viewing field through the eyepiece. The camera displays the microscope images continuously on the computer screen in real-time and non-compressed video data and digital photos and movie sequences may be captured.

Prior to capturing an image, all adjustments - colour, contrast, brightness frame-speed - may be optimised. After capture, image files are saved in the desired image-format on the computer's hard drive. Once calibrated using a stage micrometer, the software allows measurement of lengths, angles and areas across microscope images. It is also possible to include a scale marker on micrographs and to count particles. For counting select Plugin and then Count, after that set parameters and Count.

All of these cameras come with USB cable, driver software and sleeve adapters for inserting the camera into 30mm or 30.5mm tubes, which are commonly used with stereo microscopes.

If you decide the item purchased does not suit your requirements, you may contact us to see if a return is possible. Some items may not be refunded, so please ask before purchase if you think a return may be necessary. The greater of $15 or 15% re-stocking charge will be levied on materials returned due to an error on the part of the customer. We try to keep this charge minimal, however returns do have a cost to us.

SHIPPING INFORMATION

Shipping and Handling charges are $20 for Australian orders; free for orders over $200.

In-stock items are generally sent same day. Orders are shipped shipped from Townsville, Queensland. Our couriers pick up from 2:30pm, so please place your order in plenty of time for processing and packing if you would like it sent same day. When items are not in stock, your order may be part-shipped. Items on back-order will be sent as soon as they become available.

ProSciTech will choose the courier for your order with consideration for the destination, value of parcel, weight and perishability of contents. It is our concern that our shipments reach you, our customer, rapidly and in good condition. Please contact us if you have any issues with a shipment and we will do our best to resolve it. Please keep in mind however, that our legal responsibility ends when goods are passed to the carrier.

See the table on the page for DG shipment costs by road. Please specify when ordering if you require air service (this can be prohibitively expensive). Please request a quotation. We will charge at cost.

Solution: Check the discount, as most discounts apply to online orders only.
Incorrect freight charge (eg there is freight charged on an order over $200)
Solution: check you are logged in and you have entered your shipping address.

For Manual Quotes:

In some cases, a manual quote may be necessary. This could be if the product doesn't have a price listed online, if you're located outside of Australia, or if your total order will exceed $1000.
