The Hanna Instruments HI99151 is a durable, waterproof, and portable pH and temperature meter designed specifically for beer analysis. Automatic calibration is performed at one or two points with two sets of buffers. All calibration and measurement readings are automatically compensated for temperature variations.
The HI99151 uses the FC2143 titanium body, amplified pH electrode that offers numerous features that improve pH testing for beer analysis. The split-level LCD displays both pH and temperature readings, along with indicators for reading stability, battery percentage, and calibration instructions.
- Automatic Temperature Compensation
- Automatic Two-Point Calibration
- Waterproof
- pH electrode available
- On-screen indicator provides visual confirmation that your probe is working at its best.
- Included batteries provide 1200 hours of continuous use, battery level warning for less than 10%
- Auto-off feature can be set to shut the meter off at 8 or 60 minutes, or disabled so that the meter continuously stays on
- Designed to withstand the knocks, drops, and spills of real life, the body of the meters are protected against dust and water intrusion from any direction.
- Made to fit comfortably in your hand for on-the-go testing with the multilevel LCD display and dual button operation.
- Quick Connect DIN connector with rubber coating to protect the cable and provide a water-tight seal without twisting.
- Replaceable FC2143 probe carefully designed specifically to measure the pH in beer, mash, and wort.
- Flat glass tip is easy to clean and prevents solids in mash and wort samples from collecting on the sensor for less maintenance.
- Cloth junction when clogged, simply clear the junction by simply extracting 1/8” of the junction from the electrode to expose a new portion.
- Titanium body is virtually unbreakable, protecting your tester from accidental breakage making it ideal for rough brewing environments.
NOTE: When performing a pH calibration it is important that the correct buffers are used. We include some start buffers to get you going. The single-use sachets are individually sealed so you use fresh buffer each time you calibrate.
Your Beer pH Meter comes with cleaning solution that has been engineered to keep your electrode free from yeast and sugar build up. This concentrated combination of detergents cleans your electrode quickly and effectively so that your meter stays in optimum condition.
