LABEC Spilt Tube Furnaces are manufactured with the highest quality components for laboratory, commercial and research purposes. Designed to suit applications such as mechanical testing apparatus with a hinged design for simple insertion of the working tube.
The exterior is manufactured from powder coated steel for easy maintenance and excellent durability, whilst the double skinned construction keeps the exterior cool at high temperatures. The inner material is fibre board and provides excellent thermal stability. The furnace features light weight ceramic fibre insulation which enables rapid thermal cycling and heating is by electric embedded elements.
The Spilt Tube Furnaces are available in single or multiple heating zones with independent zone control available on each zone. Policeman safety controllers with independent thermocouples can be fitted. Custom-fit to your needs with a variety of extras such as various working tubes of different materials to protective gas or vacuum operation. For optimum temperature distribution, all furnaces are also available as three-zone tube furnaces with modern PLC controls. The heat loss at the ends of the tube is compensated using this three-zoned control, and a longer uniform zone is the result.

Additional options - To suit requirements the addition of options such as programmable controllers, timers and cable access ports are also available.
Controller - Fitted with a 50 stage programmable digital microprocessor based PID temperature controller, controls the temperature within the range ambient +300°C to +1400°C.
Data logging - When optioned the controller can be connected via RS232/RS485 communication ports which can be connected directly to a data logger or computer to collect this information. Software is available for programming and monitoring.

Seal Cap System (Tube Furnaces ) - Designed for atmospheric control, specifically manufactured for high temperature tube furnaces. Features:
- Made of 304 grade Stainless Steel with double high temperature silicone O-rings (300°C Max) on each flange
- One end flange has a vacuum gauge with adjustable valve, and another end has an adjustable valve
- Seal the tube by tightening the screws on the flange without the need for any welding or glue
- The vacuum sealing assembly will connect to rubber hose
- Excellent for any type of tubing: ceramic, glass, quartz and steel pipe
- Standard sizes are 25mm, 40mm-42mm, 50mm, 57mm-60mm, 76mm, 80mm-82mm, 101mm, 114mm and 152mm
- Customised size assembling is available upon request
- Each set includes: one flange with gauge and valve, one flange with valve, two steel sealing rings, four high temperature silicone O-rings (300°C Max), and six screws
